Some General Information
I was born December 29, 1987 and am 22 years old
I am going to college to study Computer Forensics; when I am done with this, I will switch to Computer Programming.
I live with my mom and will promptly move out once I get out of college (how can I stand living at home?!?!).
Although not greatly into music, I really enjoy the music of Yanni and enjoy singing along to Andrew Lloyd Webber.
I had a very close relationship with my now deceased grandmother, and now have an uncle who's been in and out of the hospital due to cancer :'(
I enjoy computers (especially Linux), though I recently crashed my laptop :'(
Some Information RE My Computer Experience
I have been using computers since I was ten years old.
My first computer was an IBM Aptiva running Micro$oft Windoze 95.
For nine and a half years after that, I was a hardcore Micro$oft fan.
For the last half a year using Micro$oft cruft, I began to see that Micro$oft was such a big company it didn't care about me.
Why was this? I was always trying to fix Windoze XP with no help from Micro$oft -- they would have charged a fortune for all the problems I had!!!
In January 2007, I tried out Ubuntu Linux. It would not start X!
Since it was my only computer that could get on the Internet and I wasn't allowed on my mother's computer, I couldn't ask for help!
I tried out Ark Linux in February 2007. My computer suddenly took on a new life! Everything actually worked for a change!
Since then, I have used many distributions. So far, Ark is my absolute favorite, followed by Granular and OpenMamba.
Now I help manage the Ark Linux web site and will, on occasion, test for Ark Linux.
I spend most of my time at the computer on Ark Linux's IRC Channel on Freenode.
My Life Outside Computers
I used to work at a Burger King, which I hated -- always rushing around, getting yelled at by customers, no promotions.
I am just now starting on a job at Walmart (bleah) in the Home & Garden department (ewwe, alergies!).
I don't have many friends (remember, I'm on the computer all the time!), but the friends I do have are good ones, very supportive, always trying to help out.
I have a friend that is so close that her and I see each other as brother and sister.
I have a very loving girlfriend.
